Online Islamic Studies with a Focus on Arabic and Spirituality

From January 2026, we are pleased to launch a carefully designed Islamic Studies programme with Shaykh Baber, aimed at further developing students’ Arabic proficiency while deepening their understanding of authentic Islamic knowledge.

This course is suitable for students who have completed foundational Arabic grammar studies, approximately equivalent to the first 30 chapters of A New Arabic Grammar by Haywood and Nahmad.

The course will focus on a full textual study and guided discussion of the following works, alongside additional carefully selected texts.

Arabic Grammar

  • Ad-Duroos an-Nahwiyyah – Hafni Nasif and others
This book simplifies Arabic grammar rules, explaining sentence structures, parsing (i‘rab), and some rhetorical styles. It supports students in grasping grammar more effectively through clear explanations and practical exercises.
  • Sharh Qatr an-Nada wa-Ball as-Sada – Ibn Hisham al-Ansari
A key commentary on Qatr an-Nada that presents Arabic grammar in a structured and accessible manner, breaking down complex rules with clear examples. It serves as a foundational reference for higher-level grammar studies.

Prophetic Virtues

  • Munyat as-Sool fi Tafdeel ar-Rasool – ‘Izz ad-Din Ibn ‘Abd as-Salam
